We have updated your Policy Declarations in accordance with the Insurance Commission Advisory No. 29-2020 - Implementation of Section 14 and Section 18 of CL No.2019- 65 dated 22 November 2019.
Policy Declarations are the statements you agreed to when you bought your policy. In compliance with the advisory, we have added the following declarations which will help us respond to your needs better and avoid fraudulent transactions:
During the effectivity of the contract/policy, I understand and agree to provide personal information as may be requested by Singlife Philippines and submit an updated identification document (ID) prior to its expiration or not later than (3) years from the date I last submitted my ID, whichever is earlier (“Full CDD”). Should I fail to do so, Singlife Philippines may restrict the services available or prohibit any further transactions until I comply with Full CDD or exercise its option to terminate my policy and refund any unused portions of premium or withdrawal value, if any, whichever is applicable.
I also understand and agree to abide by obligations set out in relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions relating to the prevention and suppression of proliferation of financing of weapons of mass destruction, including the freezing and unfreezing actions as well as prohibitions from conducting transactions with designated persons and entities.
